BAMI

Bami is a sweet and affectionate Cocker Spaniel mix who loves being around people. She has a gentle, loving personality and is ready to find a family who will cherish her as much as she will cherish them. She absolutely adores people. Even when meeting someone for the first time, she'll happily roll onto her back for belly rubs. She is incredibly affectionate, trusting, and enjoys attention from everyone she meets. She enjoys being active outdoors but is calm and relaxed once she's back home. Bami is very cooperative during grooming and veterinary care. She does well with bathing, ear cleaning, paw handling, and veterinary examinations. She may step away from the hair dryer, but happily dries herself by rubbing on a towel.

Ideal Home

Bami would thrive in a home that wants a loving, people-oriented companion, uses gentle, patient handling, and enjoys regular walks and spending time together. If someone suddenly tries to grab her, she may urinate because she becomes startled, so she responds best to calm, gentle handling.

Ongoing Health

Bami is healthy and doing well after a dental treatment that addressed significant dental disease. Her vaccinations are up to date.

Training & Support

Bami is indoor and outdoor potty trained, though she occasionally has an accident indoors. She loves going for walks but is currently learning to become more comfortable wearing a harness, as putting it on can make her a little nervous. She eats her meals in her crate and is still building confidence with it. Bami does not show signs of separation anxiety and relaxes on her bed or the sofa when left alone. She enjoys toys, especially carrying socks around, and is still learning games like tug and nose work. There are no significant barking issues.
