About Stanley is the man

Everyone welcome handsome boy Stanley! Stanley is the man! This fabulous boy appears to be a chocolate lab pittie mix of some sort. We believe he is 6 years old, so he's a pretty mellow easy-going guy. Stanley is a slow burn; he prefers to take things slow when meeting new people and doggy friends. He is a sweetheart who is still learning that there are nice people and pups in the world. Stanley is currently in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever family. Could that be you?

Stanley was a super sweet boy when introduced to dogs at the rescue. He gave some polite sniffs but ultimately wanted to mosey around the yard and sniff. Stanley brought a calmness to the yard, even with zoomie doggies. He was a good balance, and it was lovely watching him explore. Speaking of exploring, Stanley often goes on explorations with his foster family, taking road trips and going to the beach! He loves the beach—smelling the salty air and feeling the sand in his paws. Stanley would enjoy getting to see the world with you, if you'll have him, of course.

Stanley is a smart boy too; he knows how to sit, is great on leash, and is the perfect car rider! He just snuggles in the back and sleeps peacefully. Stanley was a very good boy at the vet, remaining calm. He even got to meet an 8-year-old friend and let him train him; he was sitting so patiently for treats. Stanley is a sweet boy that we believe could fit into any family! No kitties for this fellow; he's a little too interested. But we are happy to test him with anything you may need; just say the word! We believe Stanley could easily fit into apartment life because of his laidback attitude and quietness. Ideally, he would love a yard to sunbathe and go on sniffaris with, if you're asking him!

Ideal Home

Stanley would love a yard to sunbathe and go on sniffaris with. He is not a good fit for a home with cats.
