Meet April, a sweet and friendly 17-week-old Great Pyrenees puppy who loves everyone she meets! She embodies the gentle, easygoing nature this breed is known for and is healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home. April is a purebred with both parents also being purebred. She's already a pro at walking on a leash and has been microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella and rabies. April also has double dewclaws, a common trait in the breed.

Ideal Home

April would thrive in a home that can accommodate her large breed status. As a large/giant breed, it's important that she not be altered until she's at least a year old, as spaying or neutering too early can lead to health problems. This decision will be the adopter's responsibility.

Ongoing Health

April is healthy and happy. She has been vaccinated and microchipped. The spay/neuter procedure will be the adopter's responsibility at the appropriate age, which is recommended to be no earlier than one year old for her breed.

April is currently in the care of a foster family in Tennessee. She is available for adoption in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Maine. Getting April to you is easy, as we use a weekly professional pet transport service that departs on Friday mornings.
