Jeffery

Jeffery is a 2-3 year old, neutered male Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs approximately 90-95lbs. He's a gentle giant with people and a total sweetheart who loves cuddles and movie nights on the couch! Jeffery was sadly dumped at the Dallas shelter and likely lived as a junkyard dog before his rescue. He is a loving companion who enjoys leisurely walks but is definitely not a running or hiking buddy.

Ideal Home

Jeffery would do best in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children (12 years or older). He needs to be the only dog in the home as he does not like other male dogs and is questionable with female dogs. He would not be a good fit for a dog park. NO tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Jeffery is heartworm negative and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jeffery is crate trained and potty trained. He knows his commands and is responsive to gentle guidance; if you raise your voice when walking him, he will back up and sit down next to you.

Transporation

Jeffery is currently in a foster home in Ft. Worth, TX. Transport will be arranged by our rescue post-adoption. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee will remain the same.
