About Betty

Let's be honest: Betty has been in rescue and living at a boarding facility for far too long, which means she practically runs the place. She's mastered the art of the puppy-dog eyes, her kennel manners are pristine, and she is officially overqualified for shelter life. It's time for a promotion to Full-Time Family Member.

Betty is a mid-age adult, the perfect age where puppy behaviors are a distant memory! She excels in Advanced Snuggle-ology with a minor in Continuous Kisses. Betty is looking for an ideal co-pilot who appreciates a confident, affectionate queen who knows exactly how to claim the best spot on the sofa.

Betty spent the early part of her life on the streets. Thankfully, she was kept safe by a kind homeless woman who looked out for her before she came to us. She's been a hardworking mama to at least two litters of puppies, but those days are officially behind her! She is now spayed, fully up-to-date on all her shots, and ready to be pampered as the center of someone's universe.

Ideal Home

Betty is looking for an adult-only home (or families with kids 12+) where she can fully relax. Her perfect day looks like a fun, silly playtime session in the yard – she is incredibly playful and friendly! She also enjoys helping you clear your inbox by acting as a highly efficient, ultra-affectionate weighted lap blanket, and sleeping soundly at night as your dedicated bed and couch buddy.

Betty is great with some other dogs, but she definitely has a "boss babe," dominant personality. If you have a laid-back, submissive dog who doesn't mind letting Betty take the lead, they will be fast friends!
