Meet Annie!

Annie is a spirited, almost five-year-old German Shepherd with a beautiful sable coat and a heart full of loyalty and outdoor joy. Weighing around 55 pounds, she’s an intelligent and curious girl who loves to explore. Annie has completed formal obedience training and knows commands like sit, stay, and down. She’s also crate trained and sees her crate as a cozy retreat. Annie enjoys car rides and playtime with her people, easily adjusting to daily routines and thriving on connection and activity.

Ideal Home

Annie truly shines outdoors and would be happiest in a home with a securely fenced yard or a rural setting where she can explore to her heart's content. She needs a single-pet, child-free environment with minimal visiting animals. Annie is not compatible with other dogs or cats.

Ongoing Health

Annie requires a family prepared to support her special care needs. She has been diagnosed with Ventricular Premature Contraction (VPC), a heart condition that makes anesthesia unsafe and is the reason she has not been spayed. She also has a past seizure history, though she has not had any recent episodes.

Training & Support

Annie would benefit from an experienced German Shepherd pet parent who understands her need for structure, positive reinforcement, and thoughtful guidance. While she can show interest in playing with other dogs, she can become overwhelmed quickly and may react in ways that require careful management. She would thrive with a confident caregiver who can provide consistent boundaries, recognize her signals, and support her with ongoing training and behavior guidance.
