Hi there, I'm Blue! Yes, my name is Blue... and unlike the song, I'm not feeling blue anymore! I'm a 3-year-old Blue Heeler weighing in at about 40 pounds. I came to the rescue after being surrendered with my puppies, but those days are behind me. My babies are growing up, and now it's finally my turn to find a family to love. If you're looking for a Velcro dog, I think we should meet! I'm happiest right by my person's side, whether we're running errands, relaxing at home, or heading out on an adventure. I absolutely love car rides, so if you're looking for a co-pilot, I've already claimed the passenger seat. For a Heeler, I'm actually pretty mellow. I enjoy getting outside and stretching my legs, but I'm just as happy spending quality time with my humans. I'm much more interested in being your loyal companion than trying to herd the neighborhood. I get along well with other dogs, but people are definitely my favorite. Give me a kind heart, a comfy place to nap, and a little time by your side, and I'll be one happy girl. I've spent my life taking care of everyone else. Now I'm hoping someone will choose me.
