Sol is a sweet, playful, and energetic 8-month-old Labrador mix puppy. She’s approximately 16 lbs now and expected to grow to around 32-38 lbs. Sol is social with other dogs and people, including strangers, approaching new encounters with curiosity and confidence. She absolutely loves to run, jump, and play, especially with her favorite balls. Sol also enjoys affection and will happily snuggle up for pets and cuddles. She has not shown any aggressive behavior, and while she might be a little cautious in new situations, she never bites. Sol is a joyful girl eager to find a loving family to grow and learn with.
Ideal Home
Sol would thrive in a home with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. A fenced backyard is a must for her to safely explore and play. She needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue and provide a dog with protection and education, understanding the unique needs of rescued animals. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, or those willing to hire a trainer, would be ideal. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are essential.
Ongoing Health
Sol is up-to-date on all her medical needs. She has been spayed, received DHPPI and Rabies vaccinations, and has been treated for Bordetella. She is dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm. Sol also received a 4DX test and a negative certificate. She is on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. A health certificate and vaccination booklet are included.
Training & Support
It's important to understand that Sol is not house-trained, as is common with many rescued pets. She will require patience and consistency as she learns. Rescued dogs may need an adjustment period to feel comfortable in a new environment. Providing a safe, loving space, establishing a routine, and setting clear boundaries will help her build trust and adapt.

- Upon approval, you’ll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which covers vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and food.
Transportation
Sol is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip if adopted. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. We organize 3-4 trips per year with a dedicated transport company that ensures a safe and comfortable journey. You will receive real-time updates during her travel via a private Facebook Messenger group, including photos, videos, and feeding/walking schedules. The transport team will conduct a final home review upon arrival to ensure a smooth transition.
