Olivia is a delightful 2-3 year old female Weimaraner mix, weighing around 40 lbs. She's a resilient and incredibly loving girl who was rescued in Saltillo, Mexico, after being abandoned due to a suspected spinal or hip injury. Despite her past hardship, Olivia is a happy, playful, and independent dog who is full of life and gratitude. She shows immense joy for her current comfortable situation and wants nothing more than to share her boundless love and affection with her forever family. She's incredibly clean and an absolute delight to be around, bringing smiles and laughter with her funny antics.
Ideal Home
Olivia would do best as the "only dog" in the home, allowing her to be the center of attention. She thrives in a home with a fenced backyard. Her ideal family will have an open heart and mind regarding the needs of rescued animals, understanding that they require patience and education. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is highly preferred, as is a high tolerance and patience for rescued pups.
Ongoing Health
Olivia is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has been spayed/neutered, dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. She is on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Olivia is not house-trained, and her foster family has been unable to dedicate the time to house-train her due to managing many rescued pets. Her new family will need to be committed to her house-training journey. She is a quick learner and very eager to please, so with consistent effort, she will surely master this.

Transporation
Olivia is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast of the United States on our cross-country transport trip. The transport fee is $400.00 and will be paid by the adopter prior to the pet's departure. Delivery will be to the adopter's home address.
