Butterbean

Butterbean is a sweet, energetic adolescent Rottweiler who is eager to please and great with adults. He's still learning his size and can be a bit boisterous around children, sometimes forgetting how big he is! Butterbean also has a big desire to make friends with feline companions, though the cats in his previous home weren't quite as enthusiastic about playtime. He has not been introduced to other dogs. Butterbean is used to spending his days in a crate and the evenings tied in the backyard. He is generally well-behaved in his crate and has had no accidents, except for one instance when switching dog food. He can be a bit mouthy and uses nipping to get attention, a behavior that his previous owners struggled to manage. Butterbean can also be triggered by motion and may react if people enter the house while he is crated.

Butterbean would thrive in a home with experienced owners who understand the adolescent Rottweiler stage. He needs an environment where he can learn appropriate behaviors and receive consistent guidance.

Butterbean is a mouthy adolescent and needs to learn better manners, especially regarding jumping and nipping for attention. He can be triggered by motion and may react when people enter the house while he is crated. Consistent training and positive reinforcement will be key to his success.
