Latte is a 1-year-old, spayed female Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix who weighs 52 pounds. She's an energetic and eager-to-please young dog who thrives on structure and positive reinforcement. Latte is highly treat-motivated and loves learning new things; she already knows "sit" and "down." While she's working on her leash manners and can be nervous in new environments, her foster mom is actively helping her build confidence by taking her to new places. She shows no reaction to people or other dogs on walks.
Latte has made great progress since arriving in rescue and is a playful companion who does well with other dogs, including small dogs and puppies. She's also been gentle around small children and babies. She is fully house-trained and comfortable in her crate, where she can stay for about four hours. Latte doesn't seem to suffer from separation anxiety. Above all, Latte is a loving and affectionate dog who genuinely wants to please. With her willingness to learn and loving nature, she'll be a wonderful addition to an active family ready to support her continued growth.
Ideal Home
Latte is a high-energy girl who would do best in an active home that can provide regular physical outlets and continued training. She would love having another active dog to play with. If she were the only dog in the home, she would need daily exercise and enrichment to help her thrive.
