Meet Harvey!
Harvey is a young puppy with an estimated breed mix of German Shepherd and Doberman, though his exact lineage is a delightful mystery. He's already showing signs of being an amazing companion, with a sweet, loving, and incredibly smart personality. Harvey is a quick learner, already mastering commands like "sit," "down," and "leave it," and he loves his training sessions. He's highly motivated by treats and truly enjoys the process of learning new things, making him an excellent candidate for advanced obedience, trick training, or even dog sports.
When it's time to play, Harvey is all puppy! He adores his toys and is a master of self-entertainment, whether he's tossing a toy, carrying a favorite plush, or simply enjoying his own company. After playtime, he transforms into a world-class cuddle bug, happiest when he's snuggled up close with his people.
Harvey has been exposed to dogs and cats in his foster home and has enjoyed playtime with other dogs. He's a handsome pup with a sleek black coat, adorable tan "eyebrows," and tan socks, all contributing to his elegant yet sweet appearance.
Ideal Home
Harvey would thrive in a home where he can continue his training and enrichment. As a likely German Shepherd/Doberman mix, he'll need an active environment that engages his intelligence and provides plenty of opportunities for physical and mental stimulation.
Ongoing Health
Harvey is a healthy puppy. He has received age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He will be spayed/neutered before adoption.
Training & Support
Harvey is already doing well with basic commands and leash walking. Continued positive reinforcement training, socialization, and consistency will help him succeed. He benefits from structure and enjoys learning.

Transporation
Harvey is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A surcharge of $87 applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
