Buttons

Buttons is a 18-month-old, 18lb Yorkie Terrier mix with a heart full of love and energy to spare! This adorable pup is pure joy, and while he may be a little guy, he's convinced he's a lap dog and will happily curl up with you. Buttons is affectionate, curious, and always eager to be close to his people, showering them with face kisses. He's good in public, great on leash, and loves his walks. Buttons is also crate trained, house trained, and enjoys car rides. He's good with visitors and strangers, older children, and other dogs. He's a runner, with an energy level of 10/10, and loves to play fetch, though he might tease you into a game of chase! Buttons is still in his puppy stage, so expect some playful nipping and mischief, but he thrives on attention and affection. He's learning leash manners and is motivated by treats, making training a fun experience.

Ideal Home

Buttons needs a very active family with another playful dog of similar size and energy. He would do best in a home without cats, as he tends to bark at them.

Training & Support

Buttons is learning leash manners and can get a bit playful with the leash. He is also learning to curb his enthusiasm for chasing cats. He is very food motivated, which will be a great asset in his continued training.
