Rose

Rose is a sweet senior female Chihuahua mix who was rescued from the streets of Laredo. She was initially a bit shy, having been mistreated by people in the past, but she has really blossomed in our care. Rose enjoys spending her days playing with other dogs outside and is happy to retreat to her kennel for a good night's sleep. She appears to be housebroken and is slowly learning to trust and warm up to people.

Ideal Home

Rose would do best in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. Given her past experiences, a patient and understanding family will be key to helping her feel safe and loved.

Ongoing Health

Rose is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Rose is still working on her confidence around new people. It's important to give her space and let her approach you when she feels comfortable. Consistent positive reinforcement will help her continue to realize that not all humans are mean.
