Say hello to Lucy! This girl may look like she was assembled in the extra-large section, but at 65 pounds and 10 months old, she is really a pocket mastiff. A substantial pocket, yes, but a pocket nonetheless. Lucy is a Boxer/Mastiff mix with a wonderful temperament: gentle, eager to please, affectionate, and great with people and other dogs. She is active enough to enjoy life and have fun, but she is not a maniac. She has lovely young-dog energy without the "someone please remove her from the chandelier" nonsense that some Boxers can have. Lucy is generally good with cats, but cats in her future home should be dog-savvy. She is still young, large, and learning, so a cat who knows how to set boundaries and not make unfortunate decisions would be best. This is a lovely dog for almost any family. She would be especially perfect for someone who loves the steady, affectionate, people-focused Mastiff temperament but prefers a dog who does not require her own zip code.
