Harlen is a bundle of wiggly enthusiasm and great energy, happiest when surrounded by friends, whether human or canine. Her favorite thing is to greet everyone with a wiggle of excitement!

Ideal Home

Harlen would be happy in a house with a yard or an apartment, as long as she gets enough exercise. She's adaptable, affectionate, and very connected to her people. A family that enjoys playtime, walks, and laughing at her goofy antics will be a perfect match.

Harlen is generally healthy, and her adoption fee includes all necessary vetting.

Training & Support

Harlen is still young and will benefit from ongoing training and practice. She has great basic leash skills but could use a little polishing. While she doesn't exhibit resource guarding, she is known to steal unattended snacks, so a little guidance and keeping tempting treats out of reach will be helpful. She showed great promise with cats during introductions, but a slow introduction at home is still recommended.

Transporation

Harlen is located in the Greater Houston area, Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
