Krockett

Krockett is a handsome 1-year-old male Labrador mix who weighs about 55 pounds. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. Krockett is a truly wonderful dog, always sporting a happy smile. He’s incredibly loyal, polite, and intelligent, with a playful and joyful spirit. He absolutely loves to have fun and is quite active, so he's looking for a family that shares his enthusiasm for the outdoors and active lifestyles. He's already crate and leash trained and enjoys car rides, making him a great travel companion!

Ideal Home

Krockett would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures. He needs a family that understands the needs of rescued animals, is patient, and has experience with dog behavior and training.

Ongoing Health

Krockett has undergone a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, a negative heartworm test, and a health certificate. He has a vaccination booklet available.

Training & Support

While Krockett is crate and leash trained, he is not yet house-trained. His foster family emphasizes that due to the sheer number of animals they care for, they are unable to house-train each one. Your patience and continued training efforts will be key to his success in this area.

Transportation

Krockett is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest. A transport fee of $250.00 will apply, paid by the adopter prior to departure.
