Bert

Bert is a handsome, 5.5-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with a confident and independent spirit. He spent his early months on a farm, where he gained valuable experience with a variety of animals, including cats, sheep, turkeys, ducks, chickens, and cows. While he's had farm life exposure, Bert is best suited to be a cherished family dog rather than a working dog. If you're seeking a food-motivated and self-assured companion, Bert might be the perfect addition to your home!

Bert would thrive in a home that appreciates his independent nature and can provide him with plenty of love and attention.

Ongoing Health

Bert is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. He will also be current on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bert is food-motivated, which can be a great asset in his training journey. As with any young dog, continued positive reinforcement and consistent guidance will help him blossom into a well-adjusted companion.

Transporation

Bert is currently fostered in Texas and is available for transport to an out-of-state adopter. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport, and an adoption interview/meet and greet will occur via video call. The out-of-state adoption fee is $300 plus transport costs, which vary by location.
