This sweet, 5.5-year-old, 60lb spayed female Staffordshire mix has a face that melts hearts and a soul full of love to give. Akira was rescued from a euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever family for nearly nine months. We're baffled as to why this gem hasn't found her perfect match yet, as she's truly a special girl.
Akira is a master of relaxation, enjoying naps on her comfy dog bed until it's time for a walk. She's fully crate-trained and knows her basic commands, responding beautifully to gentle treat-giving. For entertainment, she loves to play with her bones and stuffed toys, tossing them from her bed and then retrieving them with enthusiasm. She absolutely adores people and has a special fondness for quiet, submissive canine companions. However, her ultimate dream is to be your one and only, the absolute center of your universe. In return for your affection, Akira promises a lifetime of unwavering, unconditional love.

Akira is a healthy girl, spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. Please note that our assessments of breed and age are based on veterinarian recommendations and our best estimations.
Training & Support
Akira is already crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She's a good listener and gently takes treats, indicating a strong foundation for further training and bonding.

Transporation
Akira is currently in foster care in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state to approved adopters. Transports depart every few weeks, and she will be scheduled for the next available one upon approval.
