Meet Inez!
If you're looking for a dog who will happily follow you from room to room, curl up in your lap, and become your constant companion, Inez may be exactly who you've been waiting for. Inez is a sweet, affectionate girl with a wonderful blend of playful energy and couch-potato charm. She loves being close to her people and has all the qualities of a true Velcro dog. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, spending time outside, or simply moving through your daily routine, Inez wants to be right there with you. Her foster describes her best: "Very sweet girl who loves her brother but does things independently. Loves doing zoomies. Loves to sit by or on your lap. Will follow you all over. Will always come if called. Loves being outside. She is just a great little dog who will make a wonderful pet." Inez came to us as an owner surrender. While transitions can be difficult for any dog, Inez has adjusted beautifully and has quickly shown what a wonderful companion she is. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate and loving personality shines through. Now she's ready to find a forever family who will give her the stability and love she deserves.
Ideal Home
Inez would thrive in homes with other dogs and families with children, as she absolutely loves children and is especially gentle with younger kids. She enjoys having canine friends around, and while her compatibility with cats is currently unknown, she would likely do well with proper introductions due to her easygoing temperament. She would be a perfect fit for people who enjoy both adventures and relaxing at home, and anyone looking for a true Velcro dog.

Training & Support
Inez is house-trained and crate-trained. She is continuing to learn confidence in new situations, improve her manners, and build positive experiences with new people. Inez can occasionally become excited and jump when greeting people she loves, and she may also bark or vocalize when she is excited or trying to communicate. While she may initially seem shy or nervous in new situations, she warms up quickly once she realizes she is safe.
