Flurry

Hi! My name is Flurry! I got that name because the day I was found, it was snowing! I'm approximately two and a half years old, with a birthdate around January 1st, 2023. I weigh 68 pounds, and my people think I could be a German Shepherd mix. I was found wandering in a neighborhood, and the person who took me in couldn't find my family. Unfortunately, I didn't have a collar with ID or a microchip. The person who found me kept me tied to a tree outside, so I'm very grateful the rescue came along to get me out of the cold!

I love my people and am quite affectionate. I've been around children and did well, but I can be a bit rambunctious, so a home with kids aged eight and up might be best. I love car rides and am always up for an adventure!

I'm leash trained and enjoy walks in the neighborhood. I'm also house-trained and crate-trained. I get along well with other dogs and would love to have a playmate! I have a lot of energy when I'm outside, so I'd do best with an active family. I'm smart, fun, quick to learn, and respond well to training. I'd love to try my paws at some hiking and camping – bring on the s'mores!

I haven't been tested with cats, so I'd do best in a home without any feline friends.

Ideal Home

A family with children eight and up, an active lifestyle, and potentially another dog to be a playmate. No cats, please!

I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines.

Training & Support

I am already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. I'm a quick learner and respond well to training, so continuing with positive reinforcement will help me thrive!
