Meet Boots! This joyful three-and-a-half-year-old Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix is a walking bundle of sunshine, weighing about 60 pounds. Boots brings the perfect blend of playful energy and heartfelt devotion to every day. She adores stuffed animals and rope toys, and is always up for a romp in the yard. Car rides are a favorite, and she happily settles in for the adventure!

Ideal Home

Boots thrives in an active, caring environment with a pet parent who enjoys walks, runs, and lively play sessions. She is compatible with kids, cats, and other dogs, and especially enjoys spending time with teens who match her upbeat enthusiasm!

Ongoing Health

Boots has had most of her teeth removed and may need ongoing dental awareness, yet she eats, plays, and snuggles with total joy. She has some charming effects of facial nerve damage from surviving distemper as a puppy, resulting in an endearing grin.

Training & Support

Boots is house-trained, crate-trained, and confidently knows how to sit. Loud or high-pitched noises can make her uneasy, and she would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to build confidence and polish her manners.
