Penny is a beautiful, strong 4-year-old girl weighing about 63 pounds. While she isn’t a beginner dog, she is an incredibly loving one. Once she feels safe, Penny is a total love bug who bonds deeply with her people and has that steady, soulful presence that makes you feel chosen. At home, Penny is wonderfully chill, enjoying lounging near her humans and bringing a calm, grounded energy to her space. She’s not chaotic or high-strung; she just needs the right environment to feel secure. Penny can be selective with other dogs and needs proper, structured introductions. On leash, she can be reactive toward dogs, so she’s looking for an experienced owner who understands leash reactivity and is committed to continued training and clear boundaries. With confident leadership, she does best. Penny isn’t for everyone, but for the right person, she’ll be a loyal, affectionate, chill companion who loves deeply and just wants to feel secure in her world.
Ideal Home
Penny would thrive in a quieter suburban or country home with space to stretch her legs and decompress. She would do best in a home with teens and older (13+). She is not cat-friendly and will need a cat-free home.
