This beautiful 3.5-month-old German Shepherd mix is part of a litter of eight and has quickly earned the title of resident cuddle bug. While she may take a little time to warm up to new people, once she feels safe, she becomes one of the sweetest, most devoted puppies you'll ever meet. While spending some time getting to know her, she rarely wanted to leave her foster's side and was happiest curled up close, soaking up all the love and affection she could get! With her striking black and tan coat, soulful eyes, and adorable white blaze down her face, Zambie has a way of capturing hearts wherever she goes. She's the kind of puppy who forms meaningful connections and thrives on companionship. Zambie enjoys playing with her siblings but is just as content settling down for a nap afterward. She has adjusted wonderfully to a structured routine that includes scheduled feeding times, play sessions, kennel time, and plenty of rest, and she is an excellent sleeper. She's been exposed to children and does great with them, is comfortable around the adults in her foster home, and does wonderfully with the adult German Shepherd she currently lives with. She enjoys being part of the pack and has adapted well to life alongside other dogs. One of her favorite parts of the day is winding down to classical music, which helps bring out her calm, gentle nature. Zambie is making great progress with both crate training and potty training and continues to thrive with consistency and routine. She has a wonderful balance of playful puppy energy and quiet affection, making her an easy companion to fall in love with. Like all puppies, she'll need patience, guidance, and continued training as she grows. In return, you'll get a loyal best friend who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. Zambie is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
