About IvyPearl D11341
At just over 10 pounds, Ivy Pearl is a tiny senior sweetheart who has mastered the art of enjoying life's simple pleasures. Part Schnauzer, part Poodle, and entirely adorable, she's looking for a peaceful home where she can spend her days napping, sunbathing, snacking, and keeping her favorite people company. When Ivy Pearl first arrived in foster care, she was a little shy and unsure. Once she settled in, though, her delightful personality emerged. If she'd like a snack, a lift onto the couch, or a little extra attention, she'll stare at you and stomp her tiny feet until you get the message. It's impossible not to smile. Ivy Pearl loves being near her people and will happily follow you from room to room, always keeping an eye on what you're doing. She's not demanding-she simply enjoys the comfort of a calm, steady presence nearby while she relaxes. A true retired lady, Ivy Pearl's favorite place is her dog bed, especially if it's sitting in a sunny spot. She takes her naps seriously and has perfected the art of blanket arranging, carefully digging and nesting until everything is just right before settling in with a contented sigh. While toys don't interest her, Ivy Pearl enjoys short walks where she can sniff to her heart's content. She walks beautifully on a leash and is happy to take life at her own pace. Ivy Pearl may bark at unfamiliar people or unusual sights at first, but it's mostly a brave little act. Give her a moment to investigate, and she'll quickly reveal the gentle, sweet dog underneath. Loud noises don't bother her at all-it's mysterious things like suitcases and people carrying large objects that earn a second look. One of her cutest quirks is her collection of sleepy little grunts, especially during bedtime potty trips. And despite having no teeth, she can inhale a bowl of wet food in record time before looking up hopefully for seconds. Mostly house-trained, crate-trained, and wonderfully easy to live with, Ivy Pearl is the perfect companion for someone who appreciates the quieter side of life. If you're looking for a sweet little shadow and an expert nap partner, Ivy Pearl is ready to claim a spot in your heart-and the sunniest spot in your home. This animal is a part of our "Seniors for Seniors" program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.

We will share all known health information with adopters and recommendations to keep your Senior dog in top shape. Ivy Pearl has no teeth.
