Freyja is a truly special girl who is looking for a patient and experienced dog parent, especially one who has had large breeds before and understands shy and fearful dogs. She has a heartwarming story; she was found abandoned on a dark road, having recently had puppies who were nowhere to be found. Thankfully, a kind soul rescued her, but she now needs a loving forever family. Freyja is incredibly affectionate and would love nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with her humans. She absolutely adores car rides, especially with the windows down! She has a special bond with her 9-year-old human foster sister and is a joy to be around. She's still learning her own strength and can get excited and jump when playing, so some training is recommended for this. She is also working on housebreaking, as her foster home has long hours. Freyja isn't a fan of crates and can be vocal, and like many pit bulls, she'll appreciate some durable chew toys. With time, patience, and her potential for training, Freyja will undoubtedly blossom into a wonderful companion. She is great off-leash!
