Athena, a 1-year-old spayed female Terrier mix weighing around 35 pounds, is a bundle of playful energy and affection! She was found abandoned in the woods with her siblings and is now looking for a loving forever home. Athena is a curious and affectionate dog who loves being involved in everything her humans do. She's experiencing many puppy stages at once and is learning and maturing beautifully with consistency, patience, and structure.
Ideal Home
Athena would thrive in an active home that can provide daily exercise and mental enrichment. She needs plenty of appropriate chew toys and ongoing guidance as she navigates normal puppy behaviors like chewing. She loves social interaction and would do best with a family committed to continuing her training and socialization, embracing her fun-loving personality. A home without cats may be ideal, but a cat-savvy home with slow introductions and clear boundaries might work with careful management.
Ongoing Health
Athena is a young dog and is still growing and developing.
Training & Support
Athena is a smart pup who already knows "sit," "down," "drop it," and "come." She is eager to learn and will continue to benefit from positive reinforcement and ongoing training. She is learning to understand social boundaries with other dogs and is improving daily.
