Rumi

Rumi is a sweet 3-year-old, 11lb Chihuahua mix with a heart of gold. She originally came to us from a shelter in California that was facing overcrowding. Shortly after her arrival, we discovered Rumi was pregnant and she went on to be an amazing mother to five beautiful puppies. Now that her little ones have all found their forever homes, Rumi is ready to find her own special family. She's a happy girl who loves to be by your side, and she's incredibly treat-motivated and smart! Rumi is already potty-trained, does well in her crate, enjoys car rides, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Rumi has an upcoming spay appointment at the end of July, which will be fully covered by our rescue. This was scheduled after she had completely finished nursing her puppies. She is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Rumi is a smart girl and is eager to please, especially with treats! She is already potty-trained and crate-trained, and she rides well in the car.
