Lola Bear is believed to be a Hound mix approximately 1-2 years old and currently weighs about 60 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue its always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
We do know that Lola is as sweet as they come and to add to her greatness, she is essentially a full grown puppy with that adorable puppy face of hers. This little lady loves to love and once she does, its game over! Next thing you know, you have a bestie to explore with, a snuggly princess to binge watch your favorite show with, and the sole reason why your camera roll will always be full. Though, Lola can be a little shy at first with new people and in new environments. It does not take long for her to open upwithin minutes shes giving you all the kisses and following you around.
Lola is dog friendly and has done great meeting all of the dogs we have introduced her to, and she loves her foster sibling who is a playful pittie mix. She is more on the shy side when she first meets other dogs outside of her comfort zone and will do best with a doggy friend that will allow her to get the lay of the land and feel comfortable first. Once shes adjusted in her new home, the rest is history!! Youll find your resident dog and Lola sunbathing together, snuggling up together for a nap, wrestling in the backyard, and doing everything together. All she needs is a little time to trust and shes golden! Her foster mom has even said that one of her favorite things about Lola is how great she is with her dog and she loves watching them play and enjoying each others company. Lola would also do best in a home with no kitties.
She is not only incredibly cute and loving, but she also is really smart too. She walks well on a leash, only pulling every so often out of excitement, is super crate trained and potty trained, loves treats, and knows basic commands such as sit. Lola is the type of girl that loves to work her mind and thrives with structure, routine, and some form of mental stimulation. If youre someone that likes to do puzzles with your dog, teach them new tricks, and are looking for a companion to really just do life with, Lola is definitely your girl. She loves to be included and loves to be with her people.
Lolas foster has shared that she has been around kids ranging from 612 years old and has done great with them. She has all the makings of a wonderful family dog. If you have kids and would like to know more about her interactions, were happy to arrange that! She loves being outside, exploring, zooming, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying all the smells. She would do best in a home with a yard where she can do all her favorite things, and that would make her one happy girl. Lola loves to play with toys and will happily keep herself entertained while you do things around the house, and shell be just as happy engaging with you for play time. She loves to play tug of war and does the cutest bunny hops running after a toy. Lola is the best of both worlds when it comes to playfulness and snuggle time.
We are willing to test Lola Bear with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
