Leah and her sister Judy are approximately 5 months old, born around January 30th, and currently weigh around 17 lbs each. These sweet girls were found at a local elementary school, where teachers had been feeding them. When school ended, they were left with no one to care for them, so we stepped in! Leah is the darker merle colored sister, while Judy is the lighter merle. While a little shy, Leah and Judy are blossoming and learning to trust and enjoy human affection. We believe they are some sort of Catahoula mix and estimate they will be around 50 lbs when fully grown.
Ideal Home
Leah and Judy love other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to help them gain confidence. If there aren't other dogs in the home, we highly recommend lots of playdates or even doggy daycare to ensure they get ample socialization. Gentle children would also be a good fit for these pups.
Ongoing Health
Leah and Judy will be spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care, including flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and dewormer. They will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Leah and Judy are very smart and loyal. They are currently working on crate training and are expected to master it quickly. They are observant and learn by watching other dogs, participating gently without causing disruption. They have also met cats and are very submissive, showing no issues with feline companions.

Transporation
These pups are currently located in Texas. We transport dogs to the Central US and the East Coast every 2-3 weeks. Our transport locations include: Albany and Latham, NY; Wells and Brattleboro, VT; Willington, New Haven and Dayville, CT; Port Chester, NY; Dayton and Akron, OH; Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA; Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ; White Marsh/Elkton, MD; and Falls Church, VA. The adoption fee includes transport to these locations.
