Coffee

Coffee is a loving, intelligent, obedient, and playful male dog, approximately 1 year old and weighing around 30 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 in Saltillo, Mexico, and is currently being fostered there. Coffee is sociable with all humans, children, and other dogs, enjoying playtime, walks, and receiving affection. While he can be a little shy at first, he quickly warms up and melts into your arms. He is also dog and cat friendly. Coffee is described as affectionate, docile, playful, and loyal, bringing joy and fun wherever he goes. He is crate and leash trained. Coffee was rescued as a newborn with his six siblings.

Ideal Home

We are seeking homeowners with a fenced backyard and active families who enjoy outdoor activities. Ideal adopters will have an open mind about the needs of rescued animals and possess experience in dog behavior and training. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are also essential. Please note that Coffee is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Coffee has a comprehensive health protocol including a Spay/Neuter Certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra. He also has a Health Certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Coffee is crate and leash trained. However, he is not house-trained. As a rescued animal, he will require patience and consistent guidance to adjust to his new home.

• Please complete our online application thoroughly to help us find the perfect match for you and Coffee.
• An interview, home check (virtual or in-person), and a meet and greet will be part of the process.
• A trial adoption period will be offered.
• The adoption fee will be finalized prior to transport and includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, a month of preventive treatment, and a health certificate.

Transportation

Coffee is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast as part of our next cross-country trip. Transport is available for an additional fee of $400.00, which is paid by the adopter prior to departure. Delivery will be to the adopter's home address.
