About Honey

Honey is officially retired from motherhood! Her days of cleaning up after puppies and raising a little land shark are over. Honey came to rescue after giving birth to her daughter at the shelter. Thanks to the care she received, she has been spayed, meaning no more surprise litters and no more worrying about where her puppies will end up. Now, it's finally her turn to be someone's baby.

Honey is the definition of easygoing. She is quiet, gentle, and loves affection, but she isn't demanding. If you want a calm companion who is happy to curl up nearby, she's your girl. She is sweet as can be, outside trained, pad trained, and uses a doggy door like a pro. One thing about Honey is that she pees pretty often, so she appreciates regular potty breaks, but otherwise, she is a very easy roommate. Her baby has grown up and doesn't need her anymore, and as much as she loved being a mom, Honey is so ready to find a family that is just for her. Honey's story is a reminder of why spaying and neutering matters, helping to prevent more homeless animals and giving dogs like her the chance to simply enjoy being a cherished family member. Could you be the happy ending this sweet mama has been waiting for?
