Heidi

Heidi and her sister Sassy are 3 1/2-year-old spayed female German Shepherd sisters who are looking for a loving home. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. These sweet girls are loving and have learned to sit and lay down. They are crate trained and walk on a leash, though they do need some practice. They are not yet house-trained but are great at protecting a large yard and do not bark excessively. Heidi and Sassy are wonderful with children and could potentially learn to coexist with cats with a little patience. Their previous owner’s mother passed away, and their current owner is no longer able to provide the care they need as she is moving into a condo.

Ideal Home

A home with a large yard would be ideal for Heidi and Sassy. They are great with kids, but their compatibility with cats is still developing.

Ongoing Health

Heidi and Sassy are spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Heidi and Sassy are not fully house-trained and have some challenges with staying put. They will require ongoing training and consistency to help them learn these important skills.
