Meet Kenny, an 8-month-old sweet and sensitive Shepherd mix pup. He is smart, athletic, wonderful with other dogs, and beginning to show his personality as he learns to trust people. Kenny walks on a leash, enjoys staying close to his people and home, and comes over for affection on his own terms.

Ideal Home

Kenny needs a patient, dog-savvy adopter who will give him time, consistency, and kindness to blossom at his own pace. A confident canine companion would be a wonderful fit, and he needs a securely fenced yard while he builds confidence. Because he may chase cats, a kitty-free home or one with a dog-savvy cat is recommended.

Ongoing Health

Kenny is fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, and preventatives, and microchipped with lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Kenny walks on a leash but remains timid with human approach and touch. He is learning that people can be great and will seek affection when he feels comfortable.
