Float

Meet Float! This handsome 7-8 year old, 53 lb gentleman is as sweet as they come. Float was found as a stray and endured a difficult time in a shelter before we stepped in to give him a second chance. Despite his past, his spirit remains incredibly bright and his disposition is nothing short of wonderful.

Ideal Home

Float is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with children, cats, and other dogs. He especially loves to play with his canine companions and embark on exciting "sniffaris." His partial vision loss means he might occasionally bump into things in a new environment, but he's a quick learner and adept at mapping out his surroundings to navigate his home with ease.

Ongoing Health

Float has a few health considerations to be aware of. He has partial vision loss and arthritis in his back legs. He also developed pressure sores on his elbows from spending time on concrete floors, which have since healed.

Training & Support

Float is a well-behaved boy and is house-trained. His gentle nature and friendly demeanor make him a joy to be around. With a little patience and understanding as he adjusts to his new surroundings, Float will surely settle in and become a cherished member of your family.

Transporation

Float is currently being fostered in Abington, MA. He is available for adoption locally or out-of-state, provided that potential adopters can travel to meet him.
