Emerald

Emerald! What a sweet soul. This beautiful girl came into rescue from a shelter in Alabama. We don't know her backstory or how she ended up there, but despite the circumstances, she is so sweet, loving, and trusting of humans. She's a mixed breed pup, estimated to be about 4 months old. She's great with other dogs and is very playful! She will also be wonderful with kids. While she hasn't been cat tested, as a puppy, she will likely adapt to cats with proper introductions and training. Emerald will likely be medium to large when fully grown. She has typical puppy energy and will need a family whose schedule can accommodate the needs of a puppy, including basic training and exercise. At the shelter, she waited to potty outside, so she is likely house-trained, although we always expect a few accidents in a new home.
