Sammy

Meet Sammy! He's a handsome German Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At about 70-80 pounds and 3-5 years old, Sammy is a goofy, oversized companion who's ready to live life to the fullest with his forever family. He's a smart boy who learns quickly, and with some clear boundaries, he'll be your most loyal friend. Sammy enjoys car rides and would be thrilled to join you on any adventure, big or small!

Ideal Home

Sammy needs a securely fenced yard to truly be happy. He loves being outdoors, exploring, and keeping an eye on his surroundings. Because of his enthusiasm and size, he would likely do best in a home with older or school-aged children who won't be accidentally bowled over by his happy greetings.

Ongoing Health

Sammy has stopped marking indoors after about three weeks, and he responds very well to correction. Consistency and routine have helped him tremendously.

Training & Support

Sammy can pull when excited, so he will need continued leash training. He's a strong boy who doesn't always realize his own size, so ongoing training and structure will help him become the best version of himself.

Transportation

Sammy is currently in Conway, AR. Transport can be arranged post-adoption. The transport company is HEARTS LLC, and adopters will need to check their route and nearest pickup location.
