Collins

Collins is a one-year-old, 43-pound bundle of affection and energy, who believes the best seat in the house is always right next to you, preferably touching! This sweet girl bonds deeply with her humans, following them like a devoted shadow and thinking every activity is better when done together. She's a bit shy when meeting new people and appreciates slow, gentle introductions, but once she feels safe, she melts into your arms. Collins takes her role as a loyal sidekick very seriously, ready to be your constant companion.

She is working on building confidence during solo moments, as being alone hasn't always been her favorite. With structure, consistency, and medication support, she's making wonderful progress and growing braver.

Ideal Home

Collins would thrive in a calm, stable home where someone is around more often than not. She also needs a confident canine sibling; another dog is truly important for her comfort and confidence as she learns from and follows a dog friend. She does well with cats, too!

Ongoing Health

Collins is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She is on medication to help build her confidence, and her new family will need to continue this journey with her.

Training & Support

Collins is working on building confidence when left alone. A patient, understanding home committed to continuing her journey and cheering her on is essential.
