Northern Star

Northern Star is a shining beacon of love, looking to be the guiding light in your life! This sweet girl is a Retriever mix with a touch of Lab, guessed to be around 4 years old and weighing approximately 39 lbs. She's a friendly soul who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is eager to find her forever home. Northern Star dreams of long sniffy walks, park romps, making new friends, and plenty of snuggles with her humans after a fun-filled day. In return, she promises a lifetime of love and loyalty.

Ongoing Health

Northern Star recently tested positive for heartworms, but has received treatment. Heartworm is a serious condition resulting from mosquito bites, but with proper treatment and continued monthly preventative medication, dogs can lead full and active lives with no significant long-term effects. She will need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks following her treatment. We are happy to discuss the specifics of her treatment plan with interested adopters.

Training & Support

While we cannot guarantee housebreaking, Northern Star is currently working on her crate training.
