Moose is a 9-month-old shepsky with beautiful blue eyes, a fun-loving personality, and a heart full of love. This handsome boy is affectionate, energetic, and always ready for his next adventure with his favorite people. Moose is dog-friendly and cat-friendly and enjoys spending time outdoors exploring, hiking, playing, or simply going for long walks. He walks nicely on a leash and would make a wonderful companion for an active family. Like many young dogs, Moose will thrive with a family willing to continue his training and help him build good habits. He currently goes to doggie day care, where he is loved by everyone. Moose was rescued from a high kill shelter not too long ago, and he is learning house manners. He is highly intelligent, and will learn very fast. Moose is also incredibly people-oriented and loves being close to his humans. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out on an adventure, he'll happily be by your side. He will do well as an only canine child, as he can soak up all the attention, but he will be fine with other dogs also, as he does really well with all animals. Moose is very food-motivated, which makes him an easy candidate for training. He also likes to please his humans, and beams with pride when he hears he is a "good boy". Moose is looking for an active family that understands he's still a young dog learning about the world. With continued guidance and appropriate management around food and toys with other dogs, he'll make a wonderful, devoted companion for someone ready to help him succeed.
Ideal Home
Moose would thrive with an active family willing to continue his training and help him build good habits. He will benefit from having a work-from-home or stay-at-home parent so he can learn to housebreak by being let out frequently. Yards MUST be adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.
Ongoing Health
Moose is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.
Training & Support
Moose is learning house manners and will benefit from continued training. He is highly intelligent and food-motivated, making him an eager learner. Continued guidance and appropriate management around food and toys with other dogs will help him succeed.
