Lilith is a beautiful young girl seeking a fresh start and lots of love! She's an energetic lady who would thrive in an active home ready to give her the life of luxury and affection she deserves. Lilith did a wonderful job raising her two puppies and is now ready to be showered with the same love she so generously gave. Despite being three years old, she still has that youthful zest for life, meaning she'll need plenty of opportunities to run and play in addition to her daily walks.
Ideal Home
Lilith would love to join a family who enjoys the outdoors and can provide her with plenty of chances to run and explore. She would do best in a home without young children, and while we're unsure how she'd do with other dogs, a slow and patient integration process might lead to a canine friendship. We haven't seen her with cats, but we're happy to discuss strategies for introducing them!
Ongoing Health
Lilith is a Lucky Dog who has been treated for heartworms. This condition, resulting from mosquito bites, is not contagious to people or other pets. While it can be life-threatening if left untreated, dogs who have undergone treatment and are kept on monthly preventative medication typically experience no significant long-term effects and can lead full, active lives. Lilith has completed the necessary 4-6 week rest period post-treatment.
Training & Support
Lilith is still getting the hang of leash walking and is practicing to avoid pulling. She's very food motivated, which will be a great asset in her training journey! While we can't guarantee house-training, all our dogs are working on their crate training.
