Ike is a goofy, lovable Labrador Retriever mix whose favorite thing in the world is being with people. He has never met a stranger and believes everyone is a potential best friend! This happy-go-lucky guy is full of classic Lab enthusiasm and would love a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Ike is still learning that personal space exists and may occasionally forget just how big he is, but his affectionate nature and eagerness to please make him a great candidate for continued training. Ike's promise: "I might not fit in your lap, but I'm going to try anyway and I'll make you smile every day." Ongoing Health
Ike is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Ike is still learning about personal space and may occasionally forget how big he is, but his eagerness to please will make him a great candidate for continued training. Understanding that he is a rescue dog and will require ongoing training efforts is key to his success.

Transporation
Ike is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH. Specific pickup locations and times will be arranged. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request and require financial responsibility from the adopter. Transport for adopted animals includes air-conditioned buses or vans with onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey through a private Facebook Event page. Your Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest transport pickup location to you. Pick up at our Angleton, TX location is $75 and includes all vetting mentioned in Ongoing Health, plus a collar and many years of laughs and love.
