Nell is a 5-year-old, neutered male Pitbull mix who weighs 58 pounds. He was found tied in a backyard before arriving at the county shelter in Houston, Texas, where he was at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully, a foster opened their home to this sweet soul, and he's now ready to find his forever family.
Nell is the epitome of an easygoing best friend, balancing playtime with plenty of cuddle time. He's settled into his foster home effortlessly and has become a favorite laid-back companion. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, from tiny pups to larger adults, enjoying games of chase and wrestling, but also content to relax with his canine pals. Nell is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his humans. He's been great with children, greets new people with a wagging tail, and remains calm and friendly even when visitors arrive. He’ll let you know if someone is outside, but he’s all smiles once they’re in. Nell is fully house-trained and has impeccable crate manners, resting quietly and sleeping through the night. He also rides beautifully in the car.

Nell would thrive in almost any loving home, whether with a family, a couple, or a single adopter. He'd be happy as an only dog or with canine siblings. He's adaptable to weekends filled with adventures or cozy afternoons on the couch.
