Daisy AKA Grandma Mags

Hi there, my name is Daisy, but my foster mom calls me Grandma Magdalene, or Mags for short! I'm an approximately 9-10 year old Maltipoo who's still full of vibrant life. Don't let my age fool you; I act like a puppy when there's food or snacks involved! I originally came from the streets of LA, where a sweet elderly lady took me under her wing. Sadly, she passed away, and no one in her family could provide the vet care I desperately needed, so I came to VPRP! I had bilateral cherry eye, a super infected mouth, I wasn't fixed or chipped, and I even had mammary tumors! I got all fixed up, and BOY OH BOY DO I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER! I get super excited for walks, car rides, and my best quality of all: any time you get home, I let out a shriek of excitement and hop up on your leg for love. I'm fine with everyone and everything (my tortoise friend is questionable), but I do value my space and am not afraid to let my obnoxious foster siblings know when they're breaching my personal bubble.

Ideal Home

I love treats, soft squeaky toys, and cave beds I can crawl into – these are a must in my new home! Sleeping next to you might be my favorite thing; I get so excited to run up the stairs and get onto the bed with my doggy stairs (I have midget legs!).

Ongoing Health

Due to my eye surgeries, I will be on eye drops for the rest of my life. They cost about $70 per bottle and last about 2-3 months.

Training & Support

I'm potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained, and I'm not destructive.
