Cody

Cody is a handsome 49 lb Australian Shepherd with a love for adventure! He's a medium-high energy boy who is as confident as he is energetic. Cody came to us as a stray and is ready to find his forever home where he can shine.

Ideal Home

Cody would thrive in any home that can keep up with his adventurous spirit. While apartments are not recommended for this energetic pup, he would be happy with a securely fenced yard (preferred, not required) to explore.

Ongoing Health

Cody is a healthy boy. He's currently a little on the skinny side, but with good nutrition, he'll be at his ideal weight in no time!

Training & Support

As with any dog, we recommend assuming Cody will need some potty training and to learn house manners. His energetic nature means he'd benefit from consistent training and opportunities to burn off that Aussie energy!

Applications to adopt Cody start by contacting us through Wags!

• You must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter located at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.
• Please identify at least one animal you are interested in on your application.
• Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow up with the best fit applicant within a few days, or to discuss other options. Please allow up to a couple of weeks for a final disposition on your application.
• Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only for 30 minutes. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present. Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats! Introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).
• We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.
• Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.

Cody is located at our shelter in Warren, MI. Transportation can be discussed upon application approval.
