Duckie is a small mixed-breed puppy with a big heart, weighing 14 pounds and standing 15 inches at the shoulder. She's likely close to her full adult size and was rescued from an unsafe living situation. Now in a loving foster home, she's adjusted wonderfully and shows great potential as a companion dog. Duckie has a very sweet, gentle, and affectionate personality, always seeking cuddles and enjoying being close to her people. She's been friendly with the resident dog and cats in her foster home and shows no food aggression. She's calm for a puppy, doesn't jump on people, and rarely barks. While mostly house-trained, she'll benefit from continued consistency. She hasn't had formal training yet but is responsive and eager to please. Duckie tolerates baths, nail trims, and handling without fear. She can be slightly fearful of the dark and prefers company when going outside at night.
Ideal Home
Duckie would do well in a home that can provide structure, companionship, and continued training. She would be an excellent fit for families, individuals, or homes with other pets.
