Kyon is the strong, silent type – a wise monitor, loyal companion, and true man of the house! This handsome Labrador, with his tawny coat and sturdy build, weighs about 60 pounds and is eager to find his forever home. Kyon is a gentle soul who gets along well with children and other dogs, but he's not a fan of kitties and would prefer a home without them.
Given his calm demeanor and willingness to learn, Kyon would be happy to relax by your side while you work or play. He's alert and observant, making him a great companion to have around. Having spent some time as a wanderer, Kyon's heart longs to settle down. While he may be new to some house rules, he's a fast learner and eager to please. He'd be happy lounging at a family picnic, watching the game in the den, or even keeping you company in your workshop or sewing room. Kyon needs a home with a securely fenced yard (no invisible fences). He would do best in a home without cats.

Kyon is eligible for our Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program, which can cover up to $300 per year for wellness exams, annual vaccinations, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Kyon is a fast learner and eager to please, but he is new to indoor house rules and will need some time and patience to learn.
