MOLLIE

Meet Mollie! This approximately 2-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix is a true gem, combining beauty, intelligence, and unwavering loyalty. Mollie was found as a stray in a small Texas town, bravely caring for her five puppies. Thankfully, she and her litter were rescued, and now that her puppies are growing, it's Mollie's turn to find a forever home.

Mollie is an incredibly sweet girl who forms deep bonds with her people. She tends to connect best with women and once she trusts you, she is devoted and loyal. She loves spending time outdoors, exploring her surroundings, but is equally happy to settle in for the night indoors. True to her breed mix, Mollie is alert and protective, taking her role as a guardian seriously by patrolling her foster yard. She's intelligent and watchful without being overbearing.

Ideal Home

Mollie would likely do best with an experienced owner who understands working breeds and can provide a consistent and loving environment. She has done well meeting male dogs, but proper introductions would be essential. Mollie should not be adopted into a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Mollie is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has tested negative for heartworm and has had a fecal test.

Training & Support

Mollie is working on basic commands and currently knows "sit." She walks well on a leash.

Transportation

Mollie is currently in Texas. She can be transported to various locations along the Northwest and Northeast routes through Project Freedom Ride. Please inquire for specific drop-off locations and availability.
