Bonnie

Meet Bonnie, a gentle 5-year-old female Lab/Pittie mix weighing around 60 pounds. Bonnie and her friend Clyde were found as strays in Houston, TX. After months of being monitored and cared for, they were finally rescued when foster homes became available. Bonnie is a loving and shy girl who enjoys lounging, sunbathing, and gentle play.

Ideal Home

Bonnie would thrive in a quiet and patient home. She would love to have another dog for companionship, and appears to be more comfortable around women. While she has shown no aggression, she had a negative experience with a male in the past and will need a patient male in the home to help her build trust. She has not lived with children, but we believe she would do well with older children who can respect her need for space.

Ongoing Health

Bonnie is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and is spayed. She has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Bonnie is fully potty trained and crate trained, viewing her crate as a safe space. She is shy when meeting new people and needs time to warm up. With patience and understanding, she will become a devoted companion.

Bonnie is currently in Houston, TX. Border patrol restrictions require that adopters meet her in Blaine, WA to receive her. Transportation to Blaine, WA can be arranged once an adopter is in place.
