Meet Cassie, a four-and-a-half-year-old Pittie/Staffy mix with adorable black polka dots on her ears and tummy, and a smile that will melt your heart. Cassie is the perfect blend of affectionate and calm, happy to lean into you for pets or simply enjoy your presence. She loves adventures, rides well in the car, and enjoys leisurely walks where she can take in all the sights and smells. She's even been a fantastic jogging partner! At home, Cassie enjoys exploring the yard, lounging in the sun, and occasional bursts of zoomies. She knows "sit," "paw," and "lay down" and is eager to please. Cassie adores children and is wonderfully patient and gentle with them. When it comes to other dogs, Cassie prefers a peaceful coexistence. She would do best with a calm, laid-back male dog who respects her space, or as the only dog in the household. Cassie is not a good fit for homes with cats. A home with a yard would be ideal for her to explore and relax, though apartment living could work for the right family. Cassie is looking for a loyal companion to share everyday moments with, from walks to couch cuddles.
Ideal Home
Cassie would be happiest in a home with a yard where she can explore, sunbathe, and sniff around. She would also do well as the only dog or with a calm, easygoing male canine companion. Cassie is not a fit for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Cassie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Cassie already knows "sit," "paw," and "lay down." She is eager to learn more and please her people. She is content and doesn't require constant entertainment.

Cassie is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
